I’m fortunate to participate in one of the greatest industries in the world and to be allowed to announce some of the top air shows in the country. Air shows represent the finest form of family entertainment available in America and our industry has now been thrilling spectators for over a century.

All of us in this industry share a proud heritage. 2010 marked the 100th anniversary of air shows in America and look at how far we’ve come. I can’t wait to see what the next one hundred years will bring.

The growth in our industry, plus the improvement in safety and the outstanding level of professionalism that has evolved are all testaments to what we can achieve by working together and sharing a common commitment.

Through the International Council of Air Shows and the combined efforts of all its members, the future is as bright as ever and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
